It's the time of the year again

Every year I get emails from my dad, my cousins in Manila, my cousins in the States, my grandmother, my aunties and uncles in both Manila and in the States asking me what I want for Christmas.

Nothing, I always say.

I can't really say to my dad, Hey dad, I want a rack full of shoes this Christmas!

Or I can't really tell my Nana, Yeah, just give me the money and I'll clean Nine West dry!

I can't really say that, can I?

My cousin always get me the same thing every Christmas. Either a bag or a belt. And an additional P50.00 when I get lucky to receive a bag.

My other cousin gives me earrings. The pretty ones that dangles in your ears. Yep, those ones.

My dad is predictable. It's either jewels or perfume. Last year he bought me a gold necklace so I'm guessing a bottle of perfume will be waiting for me soon.

Last year I had my obsession set on contact lenses. And though I still wear them once in a while, I kinda get over them already.

Now, I heart hats.

And beanies.

And more hats.

I just love them. I don't know why but I've developed a crazed obsession.

Ok, I know I've been salivating over this for a year now and I swear I will get it.

This isn't a list for Santa. It's just me dreaming while wide awake
