Head Shaving

A filipino celebrity in the Pinoy Big Brother shaved her head for one hundred thousand pesos.

Emmett shaved his head because he knew that I would like it.

Can you come over for at least ten minutes this afternoon, he asked.

So I went. He was wearing his cap when he got in my car. I leaned over and gave me a kiss then he took off his cap.

His afro was gone. It was shaved. Off.

Shaved off for me.

Think Mike Shinoda or Adam Sandler kinda head.

I loved it. I let out a squeal and hugged him. I've been giving him so much crap about growing his hair out because of two things;

one: Afro is not a good look for a white boy [no racial discrimination intended here].

two: I like my men clean looking with a boy-next-dooresque kind of look.

With the exception of the five o'clock shadow stuble that I find oh-so-sexy.

I shaved my afro for you, he said.

Don't blame me, I said defensively.

No, I'm saying I did it for you. Because you said you're the one who has to look at me so I might as well do as what Miss Cranky says, he laughed.

He likes calling me Miss Cranky.

And calling my mother Mrs. Cranky. How cute is that?

We were watching The Longest Yard and I was raving about Bill Goldberg and Steve Austin, my WWE heroes when he asked, you like bald guys don't you?

I can't say no. I mean, it was pretty obvious.

I'm too scared to ask what your ex boyfriends look like, he said.

Well, then don't, I replied.

Cos thinking back, I can honestly say that all my ex-boyfriends shave their heads.

From my puppy dog love to my 3-year love to my 31-year old love to Mark.

And now him.

Some girls like rockers, athletes, emos - I like guys with shaved heads.

And don't do drugs.

We may still have a lot of things to find out about each other but so far, I'm liking what I know about him.

I may not heart him yet, but he does make me ink.

I got me a new job

I start on Tuesday.

I found a new job in the same industry. A different hotel, different sort of job and a whole lot of new experience for me.

Finally.

I'm too excited I can't even sleep.

Plus it's under Sunland Group - who has big marketing departments in Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne.

Life is on a roll again.

So I guess we can get cheap hotel accommodations then, Emmett winked.

I'm not couting the perks just yet. I'm just too excited.

Double Hurrah!!
