So it's like that hey?

He called me this afternoon.

What are you doing tonight, he asked.

It's Erin's birthday so I think I'm going out with the girls tonight. You're welcome to go out with us if you want, I said.

You want me to hang out with your friends, he asked.

Yeah why not, I asked.

Is it going to be a girls night out, he prodded.

I don't think so. I think there'll be a few guys going out too, I really don't know, I answered.

Oh, so it's like that hey, he said.

Like what, I asked.

Nothing don't worry, he replied.

I'll call you back in five minutes, he added.

I'm thinking maybe he does think that we are officially together. Cos he got jealous when I told him there will be guys going out too.

And he wanted to meet my friends. And actually hang out with them.

He asked me last night if any of my friends would be keen to have a drink with him. Because he had a shitty day and since I told him that I won't be going out last night, he asked if any of my friends were free.

That struck to me as a bit odd. But then he told me he wanted to be a part of my life.

Since your friends are first priority to you, I figured if I hang out with them you'll be able to pencil me in your busy life too, he said.

So. Sweet.

I should really learn to trust him. We'll see.

Last night, I polished off a bottle of red wine. I called him and we spoke for half an hour. Just flirting and begging for him to save a krispy kreme donut.

I couldn't remember what else we talked about but this afternoon he mentioned that I told him that I didn't really like him that much and that I'd block him off msn and take out his number on my phone book.

I swear, LaQuanda really does come out when I had a few drinks.

Yesterday I said Men fake relationships

My dumb cousin did prove me right.

So he's with a girl for a few months now. He even told me he really liked her and that he cared about.

You know the drill, all that sort of bullshit that guys say to girls.

I was online with him this afternoon. Apparently they broke up.

Because he chose his friends over her. And she, a wise woman, wouldn't take that. Of course.

So the poor girl is bawling her eyes out. Telling him how much she hated him and that she hopes he dies.

I couldn't help but laugh. Break ups are a bitch. But my cousin didn't seem to remember that a year ago, he was nursing a broken heart.

Now that he's over his ex, he went back to being a sleazebag that he is.

It's just not fair. Here I am trying to prove a point that not all men are asswipes.

Then my cousin, my very own cousin is proving me wrong.

Sometimes you don't have to tell the truth. You say things you don't mean to help the break up runs smoothly, he said.

So how did you break up with her, I asked.

I told her that I don't deserve her. That she's too good of a woman to be with me, he laughed.

The bastard actually laughed. He had no remorse whatsoever.

You're an asshole, I told him.

Runs in the family, it's either you get shit on, or you shit on someone, he said.

You can't talk. You had your fair share of slamming guys, he snapped.

I know, I said.

So why stop now? Don't tell me you're going soft, he teased.

Remember what you did to *stalker ex*? That was classic, he laughed.

And Johnson and Mark and his friend, he went on.

So who's your next victim, he asked.

I was quiet. I pretended that I was doing something and that I just got back on the computer. [

Next victim, I repeated.

Yeah, you need fresh meat for 2006, he said.

How's that guy you've been dating for a while now? When is he going to get the flick, he asked.

What makes you think I'll give him the flick, I challenged.

Bullshit Nikki, I know you inside and out. We did everything together. You're not in love. You'll never be in love with this guy and I know that you're just tagging him along because for some reason he finds you cute, and he tells you that and he adores you, he said.

Which is kind of true. But I see a good person in him.

He has a good heart, I argued.

Since when did that ever stop you, he asked.

Whatever, let me know when you break his heart, he teased.

It's hard trying to be good when your best cousin is telling you that he's proud that you make boys cry.
