The day I got hooked on Cosmopolitan

This month's issue of Cosmo tells me that it is normal for a guy to be emotionally unavailable.

To love me and still want his space.

To be all macho-macho and still be sweet when we're all alone.

It kinda reminds of Joey Buttafucco. The kind of guy that would driive a girl crazy - literally.

I don't want to be Amy Fisher though.

In other news, Emmet asked me if I wanted to go for dinner with him and Alex and Alex's girlfriend. Alex had been wanting to go on a double date for so long but Emmet never really asked me to go along.

Umm.. Do you... Want to go for dinner, he said.

It was so cute the way he asked me. He sounded really nervous and like as if psyching himself up to ask someone out on a first date.

Unfortunately, I had to work on Wednesday night so I had to say no.

But it was sweet how now, he's letting me in and asking me to meet his friends.

Things with Emmet are going very slowly but I think this time, I can honestly say that it is going somewhere.
