I decided where I'm going to live next.
But first, I have to tell you about how I managed to discover my next home.
We started our day by Emmet coming over after his work yesterday afternoon.
As soon as he arrived, we just crashed for what was meant to be half hour but turned into an hour and a half. It was 6:30pm when we woke up, thanks to Lucy - a friend from work.
She wanted to go out because she was heartbroken but that is totally different blog entry.
Anyway, we went over to her place in Chevron and the place was amazing.
I used to want to live in Q1 but seeing the highrise and the balcony and the man-made beach and the pool and the gym and the sauna made me decide that it will be my next home.
Hey a girl can dream. And I like to dream big.
Sometimes I'm too ambitious for my own good but who cares right?
I wasn't the only one who loved, he liked it too.
He liked the idea of being in the balcony and drinking his beer and checking out the view and the planes.
But let's face it. It really has a great view.
That's Q1 in the background.
It'll be my everest. I told myself, I won't stop working my way up the corporate ladder unless I live in a highrise apartment and drive a Merc.
I told you I dream big.
That is why I slave myself through uni and working at the same time.
That is why, I opted for going to university for 4 years instead of working full time straight after high school.
Because I know that all the hard work will be worth it.
I wil get there. I just know it.
What do you do?
When you have a massive crush on someone. And you tell your friend/flatmate/workmate about him and swoon over him and act like a complete idiot around him?
Then you find out that your friend/flatmate/workmate is secretly messaging your crush in an "attempt" to help you out with him.
Then after a few days of "helping you out" you find out that he falls for her and wants to ask her out but was hesitant because he knows that someone else [ahem you] likes him.
Then your friend/flatmate/workmate was torn between keeping the friend and starting a potential relationship.
Of course, being a good person you pretend that it doesn't matter to you. You stay friends with her and listens to what's happening between the two of them but deep down all you want to do is strangle the bitch.
Then your friend/flatmate/workmate invites you to a BBQ party held by your crush and her now boyfriend.
Of course you go because you just want to see for yourself. Then it hits you when you see them together that they really are in fact a couple now.
Because of the way he looks at her and the way she rubs his back and the way they kiss.
But what can you do right?
If that was me, I'd push her over a balcony and make it look like an accident.
But thankfully, I have loyal friends.
