I've never been the one to do a romantic dinner.
I never wanted to go and dress up for fancy dinners - they only work in movies.
I'm more of a beer and pizza person.
So imagine my parents' surprise when I told them that Emmet and I were going for dinner at Versace.
And we decided to dress up for the night.
He thinks I looked pretty. I think he was really really cute.
I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I saw him wearing a suit. I almost wanted to skip dinner and just tear his clothes off.
Almost. We made it to dinner. And it was some dinner I tell you.
I love their natural oysters. And their prawns. And their bugs. And their kilpatricks.
And their Sauvignon Blanc.
I was all smiley when I polished off the two glasses.
That and the fact that I was on a "hot" date with my panget.
It was like we were playing dress up. It was cute because he picked me up from my house and we went to the hotel together.
After two plates of seafood we went for a walk and he took the opportunity to do some pictorials.
The silliness in us still wouldn't go away.
See? How silly.
You'd think I'd be dismayed.
I was too happy. And full. That was my full face.
I almost didn't drink the coffee that comes with the meal. All I could do was stare at the milk jugs in awe. It was silver.
But in the end, the caffeine addict in me won and I downed a flat white.
After tea, we decided to go for walk.
And of course took a whole lot of photos.
Thank you panget for tonight. It's one of the best nights of my life, he said.
It was one of the best nights of my life too.
