I was at Bond this afternoon to go to Bernie's graduation (Congrats again, by the way =p) and I tripped.
Yes, I
The worst part was, I was running towards the car and I was on the pedestrian lane where a car was waiting for me to cross.
And you know when you're about to trip but you're trying not to and it makes it even worse?
And you end up looking like an idiot cos your knees are bent while you're trying to pull yourself up?
Yep, I did that.
So I was in the middle of the road, trying hard not to trip, but ended up tripping anyway. I had to grab on to my mom for dear life which didn't help because I almost ended up pulling her down with me.
I was so embarassed to look around to see if anyone saw me.
I checked my shoes to see if I broke it. It was fine.
I checked my ankle to see if I broke it. It was fine.
I checked my ego and confidence to see if I broke it. It was fucking broken!!
I was so embarassed. I was waiting for the car who, undoubtedly witnessed the whole thing to beep its horn and yell out something!
Mom didn't help, she laughed like a hyena all the way to the car.
She was all, "that's what you get for wearing such high heels!"
I can walk perfectly in them, my foot just landed on the pavement wrong! OK? hehe
And to make matters worse, she told the whole thing to our friends over at dinner.
They thought I was already drunk, I haven't even started drinking! :(
It's one of those moments where you think about it, you cringe, you shake your head and you cringe some more.
It was that bad.
Damn, I should lay low on wearing heels!
