What will you be doing this year?
Kung ano yung ginawa mo nung New Year's Eve, yun yung gagawin mo for the rest of the year.

At least that's what I've been told. So I tried to be good on New Year's Eve. I've patched things up with my ex and vowed never to be bitter ever again. I also SMSd all my friends here and abroad as well as those who I've lost contact with. I helped my ex sort out his feelings for his current and I finally convinced myself that I'm better off without him. I flirted with some of my old crushes and caught up with my neighbours. I sent gazillions of best wishes via emails and I finally accpeted the fact that I will never ever get P900 that I wanted. I was happy.

I went and watched with great restrain So Happy Together with my cousins and I surprised myself that I don't hate Kris Aquino that much anymore.

Ate Bubbles did her ultmate deed for me... Shouted for my facial. Ahh.. Heaven.

Ate Chelo gave me a tiger's eye bracelet. Apparently, Rats this year won't be THAT lucky in love and a tiger''s eye is a mean to at least try to lessen the bad luck.

Carlo moved on from ex-girlfriend. Or so we thought. He chose to spend his New Year's Eve to sulk and reminisce which I personally thought was a waste of time. Why, why, why would you want to feel the pain of losing someone on New Year's Eve?

Mum and Uncle Lucio played Bingo with Mommy. For those of you who don't know my family that well, Bingo is a must. All day, everyday. To keep our Matriarch happy. We don't play for the money. We play just so Mommy will win and all is happy.

Dad decided to surprise me with a gold Lacoste bracelet. I tried haggling for a better gift - say, a P900 or a TAG watch. No luck there. Still, I'm grateful. Don't expect me to be wearing that here though.

Ate Sharon decided to bug me, to bug me and to bug me. Thanks for having four sim cards and only one functioning phone, tracking me down is a challenge.

Eunice and Rochelle made me swear up and down that we'll have a girl's night out. Corine, my god daughter had been wanting to see her Ninang who went AWOL since the day she was born.

And the rest of the World? They wanted to help the Tsunami Victims. Thank God Mark left on Christmas day in Phuket. Otherwise, I won't be able to handle if I lost another good friend.

Let's just say that you will be reading the blog of a happy and contented girl.
