He hearts me

I was over at his place last night. He went outside to meet me. Went over to my side of the door and started shaking the car - as he always does everytime he greets me hello.

I opened the car door and I was greeted with a big bear hug. That put a smile on my tired face straight away.

I knew that going over there will be worth it. I was too tired to do anything as I went to a farewell party for Dan's [Bernie's boyfrind] flatmates. We ended up going out and me getting shitfaced - as always.

But on a much higher note, Bernie, who doesnt drink that much did get shitfaced too. So you can tell, it was a REALLY big night.

Anyway, back to the story...

I have something to show you, he said excitedly.

What's up, I asked.

Just wait, he said.

As soon as I got in his room, he led me to his computer. And I had to aaaww..

Because his screensaver said I Love Nikki.

He was looking and smiling at me. I had to give him a hug. And a kiss and another hug.

And the best part of it all is, he didn't expect for me to say it back.

He just wanted to tell me that he hearts me with nothing to expect in return. He's such a great guy.

We cuddled for hours and just talking and looking through his photos and talking about his dog called Cleo who had to be given away because he attacked Emmett's mum and friends a few times.

I found out that he's friends with this actor who plays a gay character in Home and Away - a local Aussie soap.

There are so many things that I have to find out about him. And I'm slowly doing it.

Things with him is going really good.

He loves me. And for the first time in a very long time, I'm actually happy with no reservations. I'm taking things slow with him but that's it. He hasn't given me any reason to doubt anything so far.

I might not heart him just yet but I certainly care about this guy.
