It's my mum's birthday today and I will cry if I want to
But I won't do that. The food was great. The company was great and most especially, I get to share it with Emmet.
With the exception of Macario, Emmet is the only one whom I introduced to my family and relatives. It was good because he even got introduced to my relatives from Manila. He is slowly becoming a real part of my family.
Over the months, our relationship had evolved from casual dating to full-on relationship. Both of us didn't know what the go was and we didn't know what we were and where we were headed.
A big fight changed that. It was around May when we had a huge fight that led us to wonder if we were going to make it.
He told me he loved me. I told him I loved him. I've been loving him ever since.
We have our ups and downs but by the end of the day, it's him I still go home to.
But these photos got me thinking; how the hell did he not notice that I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying while he was driving during our afternoon trip to Pacific Fair?
In other news
My older sister [ahem!], had her birthday today. She cooked up a storm as always and invited all her friends. As always.
I love my mum so much I got excited and didn't sleep til 5.30am.
And now, when everybody is gone and Emmet was the last person to leave, I helped her clean everything. From clearing the table that was turned into a buffet because of the food that was on the table to washing the dishes. We were using the dishwasher and manually washing the dishes by hands as well.
It was overtime, I tell you. I should get paid double time and a half.
But having my mum around is more than enough for me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!! I LOVE YOU!!
