A little sumfin sumfin for my self-esteem

My supervisor totally made my day.

"Someone has a crush on you.."

I stopped, looked at him and rolled my eyes.

"Don't tell me it's *****", I said.

"No, this one has a nice car and a good body..", he replied.

"It's ****...", he continued.

My eyes almost popped open. The guy that he said that has a crush on me is extremely good looking.

We worked for so long and I never really noticed anything - ie if he likes me or not.

"Just out of curiousity, how did you know", I asked.

"Last night he asked me if you're still with your boyfriend because he'd love to take you out.. I said you're still with him.. He's a nice boy.. "

I was really flattered.

It's nice to hear about these things once in a while. I know I've taken my loins out of the meat market but it's just very flattering.

Very, very flattering indeed.
